NIKE Unveils Revolutionary New Lightweight Gear

As a Nike sponsored athlete, I helped with Bauer/Nike Hockey’s unveiling of their new Swift jersey and sock line. The new technology is going to revolutionize the game. Their jersey is form fitting, thereby eliminating needless material and weight. It is designed to make players faster and to help with water buildup associated with sweat. A study showed that the average jersey can retain up to 2 pounds of sweat…absurd when you are trying to shave ounces out of your skates or stick to be lighter and faster. The socks are designed with the same material, making you faster and lighter as well. We will use the new jerseys and socks at the 2006 games.
