As Angela's webmaster, I have been helping to post the multitudes of wonderful comments from you during the games. I can't imagine how much your support has meant to her and the team. I think it is outstanding how many of you reach out to her on this website. It's beautiful to see how these games can unite people.
I wanted to extend the offer for you to submit a photo of you (ex: holding a piece of paper with your name and home state) and I will post it here to reinforce your support and show how many lives are touched by these dedicated Olympic Athletes. They have played their hearts out--and will again on Monday!

Hey, I'm Katie Phelps from San Diego, Ca and all the
girls on this years team are my idols. I want to be
just like them. My 3 favorite players are Krissy
Wendell, Angela Ruggiero, and Chanda Gunn. My dream is
to play in the olympics with them or play on the same
team as them some day or at least meet them and get

I don't have a picture of me, but this is how my dog Jaz looks at me when I am cheering/screaming aat the TV in support during your games. She must think I'm going a bit crazy and wishes the game would end so she can finish her nap!
I tell her to sleep today because tomorrow is another day to cheer and scream for team U.S.A.!
Thanks for all the memories and excitement, I am disabled and home alot and you have given my something worthwhile to watch on TV and I finally understand what "icing" is! ;-) (That was my big question trying to understand hockey rules before the olympics!!)
Jaz and I will be watching tomorrow as you go get the Bronze medal!

Go Get 'em Angela! Bring the Bronze home! I have no idea what you and your team must have felt after the game a few days ago. I do know there is alot of folks back here in the States that are still very proud to have you 20 girls wear those USA jerseys and represent this country. I heard this saying once and I am a firm believer in it.
